The compact receiver is easy to transport and carry and directly fits into the XLR audio input of your camera or recording device. The bodypack transmitter and high-quality lavalier microphone are ideal for hands-free interviews and documentaries that require broadcast quality sound. The AVX is compatible with most cameras and recording device. Powered by phantom power, you can simply plug the Sennheiser AVX into the XLR audio input. By utilising phantom power, the receiver switches on and off automatically with the camera, allowing it to be instantly ready to record and saving battery power when the camera is turned off.

Dynamic range

The Sennheiser AVX-ME2 guarantees perfectly levelled sound, no matter whether the recording environment is very quiet or extremely loud. The AVX matches perfectly to the camera’s input sensitivity without having to adjust the audio level on the microphone by hand – delivering a flawless performance every time.
