Black Magic Hyperdeck Studio Pro

The BlackMagic HyperDeck Studio Pro records 4:2:2 SD/HD in full uncompressed quality plus Ultra HD in ProRes.

Use ProRes 422 (HQ) or DNxHD compression for high quality HD video in file sizes that provide 5 times longer recording than uncompressed. For even longer recording use ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (LT) and ProRes 422 (Proxy).

HyperDeck Studio Pro features 6G-SDI, HDMI 4K and analog component connections, plus professional XLR audio and built in Thunderbolt connectivity. It includes a built in power supply for convenience and the 1 rack unit size fits easily into any studio or portable rack.

Sony AXS-R5 Access Memory System recorder

A companion to the Sony F55 camera, the Sony AXS-R5 Access Memory System recorder captures more tonal values than the human eye can differentiate. This is also the ideal match for the 16-bit linear ACES workflow. For simplified creation of offline proxies, the camera even provides simultaneous onboard recording to SxS® cards using the same start frame and stop frame as the RAW recording.
The AXS-R5 has another clever advantage. Its HD-SDI output provides a closer-to-RAW live demosaiced image for outboard monitors and recorders. This is a 4:2:2 10-bit digital signal with S-Log 2 encoding to protect highlights and shadows.

It records in Apple ProRes 422 or Avid DNxHD formats. When it’s time to edit, just remove the CF media, transfer to your computer via card reader, and the footage is ready to use straight away in your editing software, without the need for additional import or transcoding steps.

AJA Ki Pro SSD recorder

Aja’s full size Ki Pro combines the power of a file-based recorder with the familiar controls of a tape deck in a portable format that you can carry with you, anywhere.
The Ki Pro established a new paradigm for tapeless video recorders by being the first recorder to offer support for creating Apple ProRes 422 files, which revolutionized how footage could be moved efficiently from production to editorial. Editors are able to work with footage immediately without the need for special file importers or transcoding steps. The workflow is simple: record with the Ki Pro, remove the the KiStor Storage Module from the Ki Pro and connect the KiStor Storage Module to the edit system via built-in connectivity.

Easily mounted to your camera, Convergent Design’s nanoFlash is designed to record higher quality images than the camera itself, by capturing uncompressed video/audio from the HD-SDI or HDMI output.

The nanoFlash utilizes the high-quality Sony XDCAM 422 CODEC, recording the video/audio onto affordable and readily available Compact Flash Media, at up to 160Mbps (Long-GOP) or 220 Mbps (I-Frame). The footage can be stored in either Quicktime (MOV), MXF, or MPG file formats, providing near-universal NLE support as well as DVD / Blu-Ray authoring formats.

Record direct from an HD-SDI to cheap and easily available CompactFlash cards and record direct to your NLE systems file type. No more transcoding. With variable frame rates at your disposal you can record at 50/100 Mbps (Long GOP) or 220 Mbps (I Frame only).

As both a recorder and player, nanoFlash supports HD-SDI (in/out) as well as LTC in, wired remote control and power/start/tally light connector.
